I have to give a great shout out to one of my favorite books from 2012 - Mr. Churchill's Secretary! Susan Elia MacNeal's opening chapter for this book is one of the BEST openings of a book that I've ever read, talk about grabbing your attention! It'd get my vote...if I was voting.
